Did I mention there’s no TSA hassle when you fly with Era? I thought so. Era flies the Dash-8s and the Beech 1900Cs all over southcentral Alaska: Homer, Kenai, Valdez, Cordova, Bethel, Fairbanks and Kodiak.

Take advantage of great fares right now at Flyera.com between now and April 15:
Anchorage-Fairbanks    $89 ea way
Anchorage-Kenai        69 ea way
Anchorage-Valdez    109 ea way
Anchorage-Cordova     109 ea way
Anchorage-Kodiak    129 ea way
Anchorage-Homer        89 ea way
Anchorage-Bethel    129 ea way

Additionally, Era has its own “FlyAway Rewards” frequent flyer program. Take a look at the program if you fly frequently within the state. It’s the fastest way to earn tickets on Era–plus you get an extra bonus just for signing up!

In fact, travel on ANY Era Aviation flight between Anchorage and Kenai, Homer, or Valdez from now until April 30th, 2009 and receive DOUBLE (20) FlyAway Rewards Points per segment flown! It’s a great way to jump-start your FlyAway account. Book online at flyera.com .

Will ERA give Alaska Airlines a run and go to Barrow? Will it revive the Anchorage to Whitehorse summer run. Too bad they didn’t reintroduce that when the Canadian dollar was at a high. It’s a beautiful flight over Wrangell St. Elias.

With their new owners, Era and Frontier already fly to Barrow. They have plans to put a Dash-8 in Fairbanks for northward departures, which could include Barrow. But I don’t know about n/s ANC-BRW for example. I do not think YXY is on the table at all. Stay tuned!

That’s strange….these are the same exact fares as what Alaska Airlines currently offers(FAI/BET/CDV/ADQ)!

If someone accrues enough “FlyAway” points, can they earn MVP / Gold status?

Hi Geoff–nothing strange about it. Era and Alaska routinely match each other’s fares.
