I guess you can say “Fly now and SAVE!” Oh, I’ve wanted to say that for awhile!!

What a great time we had at Kenai Landing last night. We went to Costco and got a B-E-E-E-G Alaska net for dip-netting salmon. It’s a 5-foot net. Heck–we tied it to the top of the car.

But we got there in time to go out and get a few fish near the mouth of the Kenai River. In fact, we were so excited about our catch, that we almost missed Hobo Jim at Sockeye’s Restaurant. That’s right near the dock at Kenai Landing. I’ve had a GOB of their burgers — and I can attest to their F-I-N-E quality.

Honestly, folks, this is a great song. Check it out–and check out Hobo Jim’s schedule at Sockeye’s. Personally, I think it’s a fabulous anthem for our state!
