Can’t seem to get the video to play?? Anywho, can you send information on where to find a decent rate on a rental car in Anchorage at the end of June?? Lowest I found was $500 for a week and that was ONLY for a economy size?? Are you kidding me, there has got to be some deals for a mide size. Need a rental for a family of 4. PLEASE HELP!!
I went to every car rental company in Anchorage and they are all outrageously overpriced.

Here is what I suggest re: car.
    a. Make a reservation. There is no cancellation fee–so no obligation.
    b. Check the rates periodically beginning in mid-April. When they go down, make a new reservation and cancel the other one.
    c. Check off-airport, since renting at the airport is…uh…well…a RIP OFF. Avis, Hertz, etc. have downtown locations.
    d. Consider Priceline. Plug in what you want to pay–and see if anyone bites. Just be prepared wtih exact dates. No changes, of course. So I would wait until closer to the actual date just to make sure the stars are aligned as planned, etc. Hope that helps, s
