TODAY ONLY: Low-low prices to the Mile-High City

I’m flying around the West Coast with Alaska Airlines this week. Above, this is NOT an “art” shot. I simply am too clumsy to hold the camera straight as we board our Oakland-Portland flight on Horizon Air. But HEY–you could be up-in-the-air to Denver in June with the Club 49 specials. But you have to get them in the next few hours. They expire at Midnight!

Anchorage-Denver $197 each way
Fairbanks-Denver $228 each way
Kodiak-Denver $250 each way

Travel is permitted Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays June 3-23, 2012. These are great rates!

Hey, check out this week’s article in the Alaska Dispatch–I offer some great fares on Alaska, as well as some tips on how best to leverage the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan.

Finally, check out the new “mobile site” at Alaska Airlines from your smartphone or iPad. The stripped-down site offers extra funcionality (more than the new “app”) while you’re on-the-go. Boarding passes, bag fees, flight tracker and more.

Great fares to Denver. Seattle still $545 all-in-rt a 2 hour shorter flight. Why is it difficult to fly in and out Seattle for a reasonable price? Dr. M

Hey Doc–always great to hear from you. As long as United is asleep at the switch re: ANC-SEA, Alaska is free to charge what it will. I think our ASA friends are ready and willing to engage in a fare war, but it’s not in their best interest to jump the gun. I know…I know….”Dunh” HAHAHAA
