The Copper River Highway is closed at mile 36 on the highway is not passable. This means the Million Dollar Bridge and more importantly Child’s Glacier is closed – what’s looking like 3 years away from reopening. Never fear, there’s still a TON of stuff to do in Cordova, so don’t pass up the travel deals there!
