faceHere at the Alaska Travelgram, we wish you and yours a wonderful Holiday! I’m coming to you LIVE from Manzanillo, on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. We flew Alaska Airlines on a flawless trip from Anchorage to Seattle, L.A. and into Guadalajara. From there, we explored the colonial town of Guanajuato for several days. Then, we hopped aboard on the DEE-luxe ETN buses to take us to Manzanillo.

As you may know, Manzanillo and Guadalajara are two of several destinations served by Alaska Air here in Mexico (plus Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa/Zihuatenejo, Mexico City, Los Cabos and Mazatlan). PLUS, Alaska Airlines just entered into a code-share agreement with Aeromexico–designed to bring more of Mexico to more U.S. travelers.

We love Mexico–especially this time of year. Check it out. You’ll need your passport. Don’t forget it. Use your Visa companion fare (we did). More details on this trip later. In the meantime…isn’t it time for the airing of grievances and feats of strength?? How, exactly, do you say that in Spanish?

¡Feliz Navidad y Prospero Año Nuevo!
