USTravel: Must-See, Must-Fly, Must-Do in 2013

Sure, last month Santa was making a list, checking it twice, right? Well, January is when the rest of us typically sit down and make “that” list: See more. Do more. Oh, yeah, and the “Lose-weight-now-ask-me-how” part, too. HA.![]()
Our friends at USTravel have a great list for travelers. Here are some of the highlights:
1. Weekend shopping. Call USTravel and book that Seattle shopping trip. They have a great package with the Roosevelt Hotel! (800)544-2217.
2. Play in parks. Always good advice.  So when you say “Parks” to your USTravel agent, they think all-things-Disney! Ask your agent  to put together a special package for you and your family. Call (800)544-2217.
3. Vitamin D Break. Translated: fly Alaska Air’s new Anchorage-Kona flight. I did. It’s great. I took the Fair Wind over to Kealakekua Bay for snorkeling (photo, above).  Ask Kelly Jo or one of the other agents about fishing, snorkeling, lava-biking…even horseback riding. Call now: (907)561-2434.
4. Iceland. Oh, I’m on it. But plan now for when Icelandair has their nonstop flight (starting May 16, 2013). USTravel has a host of ideas. Heck, that’s another list altogether!!
See you at the airport!

I flipped through your photos on the Flickr site…old to new, but it would have been nice if they were “Titled” so we knew where they were taken at?
Sorry, Ruthann…I’m still learning how to use Flickr. I do a better job labeling stuff on my FB page: Facebook.com/alaska.travelgram
