Sure. We’re LIVE from Sitka–and it’s a lovely spot. Above, one of the AWESOME totem poles at the Sitka National Historic Park. We loved the setting by the sea. The people. The books at Old Harbor…and the espresso at the Back Door (it’s actually IN the bookstore!). The whole crew, including our lovely, talented co-host Erin Kirkland, was on hand to enjoy the lovely town during the Alaska Travel Industry Association meeting.
Our guest, Richard Beneville (right), is one of the state’s living treasures, in my opinion. Richard came down from Nome to talk about life on the roadless frontier (OKOK–there are 350 miles of roads up there….in the summer!!).
LISTEN HERE to the PODCAST (or click the icon, above) and learn about some of Nome‘s undiscovered secrets. And get our take on Sitka and the glorious communities of Southeast Alaska. More importantly–learn OUR secrets on how to get there affordably. Erin, of course, would remind you to BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY!!
