Get your passport, then get to work planning your trip. First, fly to Los Angeles to catch the once-a-week nonstop from LAX to Rarotonga. Air New Zealand does a great job. Choose your accommodations. I stayed at Pacific Resort Rarotonga . It’s a great place, but it’s one of many.
Plan your activities. Hike. Fish. Rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard. Make plans to fly over to Aitutaki for a couple of days. Be sure and go on a Lagoon Cruise on Te Vaka Cruises including a BBQ Lunch (WATCH THE VIDEO).
