Heck, my flight is in two hours, but at least I don’t have to fiddle with the TSA. Chances are good I’ll be able to bring my coffee aboard, too.

Why? Because when you fly with Era Aviation, it’s straight from the gate to the flight. Now that Era Aviation has teamed up with Frontier Flying Service and Hageland Aviation, all three airlines fly under the “Frontier Alaska” banner. That means through-service to about 100 Alaska communities, including far-flung communities like St. Mary’s, Unalakleet and Kotzebue. Stay tuned for reports from our trip to Homer. It’s always a great day to fly with Era!
Sept. 10 is the last day for air fare sale on Era Aviation for these destinations. Travel through Feb. 12, 2010. No blackouts.
NO TSA HASSLES. Keep your shoes on. Bring your latte on board (just don’t spill it in my lap–or yours!).

b. Alaska Airlines changes in mileage plan deals, including Visa card changes and Continental’s decision to opt out of the program. NOTE: The Visa Card upcharges are detailed in this article in the Alaska Dispatch.
c. Era Aviation and sister airline Frontier Flying Service and Hageland Aviation.
d. Great Alaskan TourSaver and the 2-for-1 travel deals statewide.
e. Awesome end-of-season deals on hotels, activities and tours.
