Ride the “Alyeska Mystery Train” this Halloween! Board the train in Anchorage and travel along Turnagain Arm high into the Kenai Mountains for spectacular views of Spencer Glacier, then on to the haunted Hotel Alyeska in “Girdwoodvania”. Oktoberfest: Sept. 25/26 at the Alyeska Resort Daylodge. 6pm-Midnight. $10 admission includes filled beer stein! Enjoy German food, beer and wine. Live music by Alaska Polka Chips and Alaska Blaskapelle.

Fall is here–and so are the deals at Alyeska Resort! Stay at the resort between now and Nov. 30. It’s just $65 per person, plus you receive a free in-room movie!

Head out to Alyeska tomorrow (Sept.5) and see a free concert at the Pond with Melissa Mitchell and Photonz. It’s a special concert, part of the “Fungus Fair“.

While you’re there, ride the tram up to the mountain and do some hiking. Have breakfast in the Pond Cafe. Explore the Winner Creek Trail and check out the hand cart that you pull across the creek.
